Construction of the new Saint-Amand wastewater treatment plant continues

Construction work on the new Organica wastewater treatment plant is continuing.

To ensure that the works are compliant, watertightness tests are currently being carried out on the basins.

Located along the D2144 departmental road in Saint-Amand-Montrond, the new wastewater treatment plant will meet ecological and environmental requirements in terms of respecting and protecting the subsoil and the quality of the treated water, which is then discharged into the nearby Cher river.

The size of the plant will make it possible to connect the municipality of Orval and, once again, achieve economies of scale through pooling.

See you in 2024 for the inauguration!
