Applying for social housing
The reform of the allocation of social housing is a regulatory obligation for Établissements publics de coopération intercommunale (EPCI).
The Loi Égalité et Citoyenneté (Equality and Citizenship Act) of 27 January defines inter-municipalities as the lead bodies for this reform.
The aim is to facilitate access to housing for all and to make allocation decisions clearer, more transparent and fairer.
Quotation of demand
The information you provide in your application is used to calculate a number of points, known as the application score. This rating is used to prioritise applicants and allocate social housing according to the criteria defined.
You can check the timescale for your quotation, your rating, your position in relation to similar applications and the average waiting time for a comparable file, in your personal area or at the registration desks.
Attention A high score does not guarantee that you will be allocated a home straight away, and a lower score does not mean that you will not be eligible for social housing.
