Street lighting

The management of public lighting involves the installation, maintenance and repair of streetlights, as well as the burial of networks. Cœur de France is responsible for managing more than 5,700 public lighting installations throughout the region.

In view of technological advances and the need to control operating costs, low-energy equipment such as LEDs is preferred for replacement or new construction.

In addition, lighting is optimised by fitting astronomical clocks that regulate the switching on and off of lampposts according to the time of sunrise and sunset. These cabinets also allow lanterns to be lowered to 80%.
